If any of you have moved those heavy black livestock mats around, you know how cumbersome and heavy and unmanageable they are, especially when you're working alone.
I'm turning my hay shed into two separate shelters, one on each end, with the middle area partitioned off for hay/straw storage. It's coming together nicely but today I needed to put the mats down.
I was able to single-handedly move them from the back of my truck into place by creating hand holds using C-clamps. The clamps made it much easier to drag them off the truck and into place.

Great tip. Those mats are so heavy and bulky to move! In fact I have some that need to be moved but haven’t been up to the challenge! Now I am. Thanks.
