MJF Sir Anthony Butters
MJF Sir Anthony Butters, progeny of MJF Tumbleweed Samson Butters (https://www.heritagejersey.org/chatroom/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=196) and MJF Tumbleweed Sally O’Mally Butters (pic of her on main page of this site) for sale to an exceptional home.
Born 6/28/2014 and weighing 56#, “Tony” was bred to be the perfect mid-size Heritage Jersey and to produce likewise. He is A2A2 horned (recently de-budded as you can see in the photo). Do take a minute and look through his birth photos here: (https://www.heritagejersey.org/chatroom/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=181). Review size charts here: (https://www.heritagejersey.org/measuring.aspx)
His sire, Samson (also mid-size), has shown birth ease in dams when used to impregnate mid-size as well as miniature Jerseys (miniature Jersey birth photos here: http://www.heritagejersey.org/chatroom/topic.asp?whichpage=1&TOPIC_ID=247).
Available for purchase in 2015 (he will be weaned at six months of age and able to travel to a new home any time after March 1, 2015). Asking price is $7,638. Price includes up-to-date disease testing/vaccinations and health tests, registration papers, DNA markers, and photo portfolio. Price also includes health tests and vaccinations required for travel either intra- or interstate. Delivery is an option and can be discussed.
If purchased after one year of age, asking price is $9,638 to include Trich test and breeding soundness exam at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Based on Sir Anthony’s sire and dam, he will make an exceptional herd sire for many years to come and his offspring will be of value in the marketplace. It has taken me several years to breed a bull like Sir Anthony. I am so very proud to be able to finally offer what I think of as a classic Heritage Jersey bull, his sire proven capable of servicing both mid-size and miniature Jersey cows.

I concur. Absolutely beautiful animal, his name serves him well! You should be proud, your years of hard work and time has produced such quality for Heritage Jersey. |
