What do you all do with all the extra colostrum? I guess my Clover thought she would be feeding a small herd with her massive amounts of colostrum! I know to freeze some ... but I do not need gallons of it!!

Do we just pour it down the drain? Or how do you find others who might need it? Or??? Other uses?

Chickens? Make a mush with it by adding it to their usual grain. Keep the rest in the fridge to continue to feed to them until it's gone. I'm not feeding my chickens dry grain right now. Every day, I mix together organic scratch, organic polenta (fine cracked corn), and organic dried celery leaf and mix it with milk right in their food container (a large jello wreath mold) and the dry soaks up the milk and they eat every morsel. No waste whatsoever and our eggs stay bright green because of the celery leaf (spinach, etc. would also work).

Wonderful suggestion, MaryJane! Thank you so much! My chickens and ducks will love that combo!

Just curious what part of the egg gets bright "green"? Makes me think of Dr. Suess green eggs and ham! :)
