We're getting the last of our outside winter prep activities underway this weekend. SIL Lucas and granddaughter Mia are pruning the orchard today.
I'm heading down to put tree protectors on my smaller, new trees (the ones rabbits prefer) and also prune my three new apricot trees that grew like weeds this summer.

Beautiful weekend as far as sunshine and warm autumn colors and temps. Getting some last minute outside things done. Winterizing some trees and roses, taking cuttings of roses, geraniums and some herbs to propagate, mulching and some pruning, etc. Mr. Great Horned owl is picking off a guinea every night. So out of 20 we have eight now. Must be pretty good eating. Enjoy the pleasant weather while it lasts as time is flitting.
