Wonder if walnut tincture would work on cow parasites?

Yep vet can do a check. Always hate to give something not needed. I think that is the problem with so many commercial producers. Give things for the sake of it then wonder why it will not work anymore.

I was just curious. I don't think there is a problem. Should probably have that checked out sometime when I have the vet here. I will be having him do a TB test on Sienna, but I think I will wait until after the calf is born. I run a fan in the barn in the summer too. Mostly because of the heat. Now it has a two-fold purpose.

No good. Horses and cows should not have it. We use it for humans, dogs and cats and for short periods. We have not had worm issues with cows. Keep the minerals up, watch your pastures and if you can not do it yourself have the vet check the fecal. I have seen more issues with problems related to nasal bots and mosquito bites and ticks. We try hard to keep the insect population at bay by starting early and staying on it. I always keep a fan on in the barn in mosquito season as they do not do well in wind and it also keeps things a little drier.
