Posted - Mar 03 2016 : 4:56:26 PM i remember ron talking about these a year or so ago. lover boy spent some time researching them as well, and i don't know if it was this particular model but the price was quite high for what it was. he found one for small round bales that was about $8k or so, which seemed expensive to us. now, given it is an implement that if taken care of should last a lifetime perhaps it is a reasonable cost to some... but we looked at picking up used equipment for small square bales and it would be a much more reasonable option for us to go that route.
but of course we have done none of it as we are just pasturing our cows and buying hay from the organic neighbor ;> |

Posted - Mar 03 2016 : 4:07:00 PM I don't care for those large round bales. Just seems like there is so much waste with the larger bales. But I think we could handle these smaller bales. |
