I'm just so very pleased that Cassidy went to such a good home. Makes me feel all fuzzy inside:) It's a dream come true for me to help people find good bulls and milk cows. Thank YOU for being part of the moo-vement that is dotting the landscape again with small farms. And chickens. And ... milk cows!

What a great picture Kade. They are in love for sure. I think Cassidy is an outstanding bull. He has such a sweet face and great conformation and I love the white on him. Is he polled? I think it is so cool you got him from Maryjane.. MJF is my favorite magazine and in this months issue I found out about the HJO and am so happy I did. You have beautiful cows and a beautiful family.. My husband and I are taking two months next summer to tour the United States and hope we could stop and visit your farm

Visitors are always welcome Pam, please just let us know when you are in the area. We are in the far Northeast Corner of Oregon and in a very lovey area with vast rolling hills and timber land. The bull we acquired from MJF is a very sweet, gorgeous little bull and we are tickled pink to see the calves he throws with our girls in the spring.
We currently have 3 bulls and 6 females on the farm and it's a good number for us. They provide us with delicious milk and the best free therapy. Please look at our website if you wish at www.upperdiamondfarm.weebly.com We look forward to hearing from you and safe travels.

Sorry forgot to answer your last question. Cassidy is horned but dehorned and A1/A1.

Pam,
Cassidy is the progeny of a mid-size cow with a VERY sweet disposition and awesome udder/teats and Milky Way, a miniature Jersey, also an awesome guy. Milky Way was my first bull and gave me an fantastic start on the breeding program that I now enjoy. Cassidy definitely inherited his parents' mellow genes. He's an easy-going guy. I was sorry to see him go but you can't have a breeding program without changing out your bulls. I think he's going to be perfect for Kade's little Ella (Elinore)--a gorgeous cow with great potential. Working with Kade on Cassidy's transition was an absolute pleasure.
